Nissin's CMH series honing units are a proved leader.
The honing units improve honing accuracies and provide more stable honing performance because they are equipped with our original CNC honing controller (NCS) system, the brainchild of our engineers. The flagship honing units and all its sister machines are designed to be easily programmed for the optimum honing parameters of whatever workpiece materials you handle.
„ The high-speed honing unit.
The machines can finish holes in the range of 3.81-50 mm in diameter. With the stone's peripheral speed of approximately 70 m/min. and its reciprocating speed of 25 m/min., the honing units are faster than conventional machines.

The speed and position of the honing stroke, controlled by the NCS electrohydraulic servo system with closed loop control, are optimally selected to suit any type of workpiece.
„ Allows precision processing at the submicron level
The stone feeding expansion system is driven by an NCS-stepping motor with a semi-closed loop control. The stone is intelligently expanded in three stages; rapid expansion, rough and finish feeding. These stone movements can be tightly controlled, step, to meet a workpiece's specifications and achieve more accurate honing.

The ultimate smooth surface is now real.
A crosshatch pattern, determined by the stone's peripheral and reciprocatiry, is produced mechanically for uniform what more, honed surface are highly durable and degenerate very little in workpiece.
