Handling of Personal Information

Nissin Manufacturing Co., Ltd. considers the protection of our customers’ personal information to be of the utmost importance. We handle personal information in the following manner and are committed to maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality of personal information, and to collecting and using personal information appropriately.

1. What Is Personal Information?

Personal information is defined in Article 2 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information as “information about a living individual that can identify the specific individual by name, address, sex, date of birth, or other description contained in the information, or that contains a personal identification code (includes information that can be easily matched with other information and thereby identify a specific individual).”

We will handle personal information, as defined above, that is obtained in the course of our business as follows.

2. Purposes for the Use of Personal Information

We will use the personal information of our customers for the purposes of shipment of products and documents, and the introduction and provision of related services in the course of manufacturing, selling, and importing/exporting sewing machine parts, automotive parts, and machine tools.
In addition, we will use the personal information of persons registered as applicants for employment for the purpose of recruiting and hiring employees. Please note beforehand that any submitted application documents will not be returned.

3. Use of Personal Information

We will use personal information within the scope of the purpose(s) of use indicated at the time when said personal information was obtained, and only to the extent necessary to conduct our business. When we use personal information jointly with a third party or consign the handling of personal information to a third party, we will conduct a rigorous investigation of the third party and supervise said third party properly to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

We will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the principal, except as required by law.

5. Management of Personal Information

We will ensure that personal information remains accurate, and will manage it securely. We will take appropriate information security measures against unauthorized access, computer viruses, etc. to prevent the loss, destruction, falsification, and/or leakage of personal information.
We will not leak personal information by physically taking it out of our premises, distributing it externally, or otherwise divulging it.

6. Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, and Deletion of Personal Information

We affirm that the principal has the right to request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, deletion, etc. of his/her own personal information, and will promptly respond to such requests without objection.

7. Organization & System

We will appoint a personal information protection manager, who will manage personal information appropriately.
We will provide training to our directors and employees on the protection and proper management of personal information, and ensure the proper handling of personal information in the course of daily business operations.

8. Establishment, Implementation, Maintenance and Improvement of a Personal Information Protection Compliance Program

In order to implement this personal information policy, we will establish a Personal Information Protection Compliance Program (including a Personal Information Protection Policy, Personal Information Protection Regulations, and other regulations and rules). Our employees and other related parties will be made fully aware of such Program, and will implement, maintain, and continually improve said Program.

9. Information That Is Automatically Transmitted Externally from This Website

We collect cookie information from all customers and provide access logs to Google Analytics of Google LLC for the purpose of analyzing operation logs that do not contain personally identifiable information and understanding how our website is used.
In addition, when you provide us with information that includes personal information in the course of our business activities such as information stated in inquiry forms and catalog download forms or provided in exhibitions, we provide form entry and cookie information to HubSpot of HubSpot, Inc. for the purposes of analyzing operation logs in combination with personal information and gauging the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. Please check the privacy policy of each recipient with regard to the handling of personal information by that recipient.
